Springfield, MA — Summer is a season for learning, adventure, and creating unforgettable memories. This year, youth participating in the Springfield Boys & Girls Club Summer Program enjoyed an exciting field trip to Six Flags New England thanks to the generosity and support of new Board Member Sydney Snow.

The special experience gave Club members the opportunity to spend a day enjoying rides, spending time with friends, and creating positive summer memories outside of the Club. Field trips like this are an important part of the Springfield Boys & Girls Club’s commitment to providing youth with enriching experiences that support confidence, connection, and personal growth.

Community Support Creates Opportunities for Local Youth
Sydney Snow has been a longtime supporter of the Springfield Boys & Girls Club and has consistently helped create opportunities for Club members. Through her role in public relations and regional marketing with Six Flags New England, Sydney helped secure tickets for Summer Program youth to enjoy a day of fun and adventure at the park.

Sydney brings extensive experience in media, communications, and community engagement. After beginning her career in the Boston market, she worked as a reporter for 22News in Springfield, sharing important stories from across the region. Her passion for storytelling and connecting people continues today through her work with Six Flags New England and her involvement with the Springfield Boys & Girls Club.
As a new member of the Springfield Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors, Sydney brings valuable expertise in outreach, communications, and relationship-building to help strengthen awareness of the Club’s mission and impact throughout the community.

Creating Meaningful Summer Experiences for Youth
At the Springfield Boys & Girls Club, summer programming is about more than keeping kids busy — it is about creating opportunities for youth to explore, discover new interests, build friendships, and develop skills that help them succeed.
Experiences like the Six Flags New England field trip allow Club members to enjoy moments of joy while building positive connections with peers and caring adults. These opportunities are made possible through the generosity of community partners, supporters, and advocates who believe every child deserves the chance to thrive.
The Springfield Boys & Girls Club is grateful to Sydney Snow for her continued support and commitment to helping local youth experience a summer filled with fun, friendship, and opportunity.
