Assistant Program Director- Full Time
Reports To:
Program Director/ Assistant Executive Director
Overview:
The Assistant Program Director is a full-time position within the Springfield Boys & Girls Club. S/he will develop and implement all programs within the club, as well as help oversee program staff. Ideally, s/he will have knowledge of and experience with EEC regulations.
Building Maintenance Staff – Full Time
Reports To:
Facility Manager
Overview:
The Building Maintenance Staff is a 40-hour per week position within the Springfield Boys & Girls Club. S/he is responsible for building maintenance and upkeep, as well as other tasks as assigned.
Teen Director – Full Time
Reports To:
Assistant Executive Director
Overview:
The Teen Coordinator is a part-time position within the Springfield Boys & Girls Club. S/He is responsible for the growth and development of the day-to-day operations of an expanding teenage community within the Club. The Teen Coordinator is responsible for the effective delivery of a broad range of activities and programs geared specifically for teens within the core program areas of Education and Career Development, Character and Leadership Development, Health and Life Skills, the Arts, and Sports, Fitness and Recreation.
Youth Counselor – Part Time
Reports To:
Program Director/ Assistant Executive Director
Overview:
The Youth Development Staff is a part-time, seasonal position with the Springfield Boys & Girls Club. S/he is responsible for implementing programs and activities as set forth by the program director and/or the assistant executive director.
Certified Lifeguard
Reports To:
Assistant Executive Director
Overview:
The Lifeguard is a part-time position within the Springfield Boys & Girls Club. S/He is responsible for the operations & safety of the pool area including the locker room areas. Below are a full list of the duties and responsibilities.
Events Specialist
Reports To:
Executive Director & Development Director
Overview:
Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director & Director of Development, this seasonal employee will assist with the Springfield Boys and Girls Club largest fundraiser, the Festival of Trees. This person will work closely with the Festival of Trees Committee & staff to assist in regenerate fundraising income to meet or exceed budget goals through the Festival of Trees. Oversee necessary duties & projects to enhance the entire festival of Trees event. Generate a plan & system to sustain and enhance the future of the Festival of Trees. This position must have a 25–30–hour work schedule leading up to the event’s opening day. Once the Festival of Trees begins, this person must work every hour that the event is open. Additional responsibilities & projects may be needed as directed by the Executive Director/Director of Development.
