          The Springfield Boys & Girls Club is proud to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Festival of Trees at the MassMutual Center. This major fundraising event is made possible by the generous support of sponsors, tree sponsors, and volunteers.

Meet Our Staff

Shenita Anderson

Membership Director

A former Club kid herself, not only does the Club feel like family, with her son on junior staff, it actually is family. Shenita’s time at the SBGC included being awarded Girl Hero and selected as Mayor For A Day. A native of Springfield, Shenita has been working at the Club since 1994. 

Her best memories of the Club are seeing alumni returning with their own children, just like herself.

7.7 million kids and teens are alone and unsupervised after school while nearly 25 million don’t have access to after-school programs.
