Supporting Safe and Successful Summer Programming
Last week, Springfield Boys & Girls Club COO Chiarina Sarno and CDO Jamie Pimentel attended the Paul Harris Luncheon hosted by the Rotary Club of Springfield.
The event brought together local leaders and community partners committed to strengthening support for nonprofit organizations across the region.
During the luncheon, the Springfield Boys & Girls Club was honored to be selected as a recipient of a Springfield nonprofit community grant, receiving a $1,000 award.

Investing in Youth Safety and Well-Being
This generous support will directly benefit the young people we serve.
The funds will be used to purchase essential first aid supplies, helping ensure a safe and well-prepared environment as we head into our summer programming season.
Community-driven partnerships like this play an important role in allowing us to continue providing high-quality, safe, and enriching experiences for children and teens in our care.
We are deeply grateful to the Rotary Club of Springfield for their continued investment in local youth development.

Celebrating Leadership in the Community
We also extend our congratulations to Carla Alves on being named the 2026 Paul Harris Fellow.
Her leadership, service, and commitment to the community continue to make a lasting impact throughout Springfield. Recognition like this highlights the importance of individuals who dedicate themselves to strengthening their community and supporting others.

A Stronger Community Through Partnership
The Springfield Boys & Girls Club is thankful for strong community partners like the Rotary Club of Springfield. Their support helps ensure that young people have access to safe spaces, caring mentors, and meaningful opportunities all year long.
Together, we are building a stronger, safer, and more connected community for the youth who need us most.
