A Message from the Chairman of the Board of Directors

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Board Chair of the Springfield Boys and Girls Club. My name is Ed Dowd, and I am deeply honored to step into this role at such an exciting time for our club and the young people we serve.

First, I’d like to take a moment to recognize our board for their incredible leadership and unwavering commitment. Their efforts have laid a strong foundation for our club’s success, and I am eager to carry that legacy forward. As I begin this journey, my vision is to ensure that every child who enters our club has the chance to unlock their full potential. The Boys and Girls Club isn’t just a building—it’s a safe haven where kids find mentorship, opportunity, and the support they need to thrive.
