Start of Lunar New Year
The Lunar New Year is one of the most important celebrations of the year among East and Southeast Asian cultures. It is celebrated for multiple days starting in February, this year it starts February 10th. The Lunar New Year is a way to honor households, heavenly deities, and the families’ ancestors all while enjoying a feast with your loved ones. Following the Lunar calendar where each year is represented by one of the 12 zodiac animals which are the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig. This is the year of the dragon!
